Help Keep Hoosiers Healthy
Indiana Lyme Connect exists to Support Hoosiers with Lyme and Save Hoosiers from Lyme.
With your commitment to walk/run, support, and fundraise on behalf of Indiana Lyme Connect, we will raise vital funding to provide missing services like education, advocacy, and awareness of Lyme disease and its associated co-infections. These include:
- Monthly support meetings for Lyme patients, their families and caregivers, and interested citizens
- Education for the greater Indiana community regarding Lyme-centric issues such as prevention, tick removal, and diagnosis.
- Participate in 3 key events in 2023 to educate and support new Hoosier audiences.
- Promotion of educational opportunities to the Indiana medical community that are designed to prepare healthcare professionals for the fight against this emerging public health crisis.
Currently, the CDC estimates that there are 476,000 new cases of Lyme diagnosed every year, but the real number is likely much, much higher. By supporting us in the 2023 races, you are an integral part of Indiana Lyme Connect’s mission to prevent as many new cases of Lyme disease as possible in Indiana and to support those suffering with Lyme.
Thank you so much for your support! We look forward to crossing the finish line with you this year.
