Welcome to Carol & Christine's Giving Tuesday fundraising page supporting Facing Forward to End Homelessness!
Facing Forward serves Chicagoans experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity including families with children, single and partnered adults, Chicago Public School students and their families, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and persons with physical and/or mental disabilities. By connecting clients with stable housing, supportive services, and critical resources families and individuals in our programs gain the stability needed to address barriers, build self-sufficiency, and break the cycle of homelessness. In addition to improving the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors, Facing Forward’s housing first approach saves taxpayers an estimated $10 million annually by reducing frequent encounters with emergency rooms, jails and shelters. Christine serves on the organization's Governing Board Finance Committee, and Carol serves on the Marketing Committee of the Associate Board.
To us, supporting Facing Forward means supporting a healthier, more equitable life for children and families who have experienced homelessness. Help us provide a strong foundation for the resilient children and adults in our programs today by donating to Facing Forward on Giving Tuesday! Over the last year, Facing Forward has supported almost 1,800 adults and children on their journey beyond homelessness. Supporting Facing Forward means helping others find the stability to lead fulfilling lives and end generational cycles of homelessness.
You can donate between now and November 30, 2021. Donations made on or before Giving Tuesday are eligible for a match, up to $30,000, which will double the impact of your gift. Thank you for supporting our campaign!
