Welcome to the KULU Fundraising Challenge page, and thank you for being a part of it! We are super excited to get this year's fundraising underway, and have changed the structure of how we will proceed.
Similarly to last year, we will be raising money for two main giving events. We will be once again provide 500+ students with backpacks and school supplies for their upcoming school year. Our School Supply Drive will be August 6th, at the Goddard Riverside Community Center at 593 Columbus Ave, New York, NY 10024.
In addition, we will be once again provide turkeys and Thanksgiving foods for 500+ families in Harlem this November. The average family size was between 4 and 5, so we will be feeding over 2,000 people this Thanksgiving Holiday at least!
We cannot thank you enough for participating and contributing to KULU, and want to reward you all for your efforts! This year, due to the complexity and short static timeframe of last year's fundraising challenge, we are restructuring our process in order to meet the general needs of the group best we can. We are opening up fundraising starting on July 1st, and leaving it open all the way through our Turkey Drive date, which is targeted to be Saturday, November 23rd. This will allow each member to move at their own pace!
KULU Foundation is a giving foundation that focuses on providing school supplies and food to those in need. We will continue to look for growth opportunities, and hope to add either another cause or location to help next year, but that depends on how much money we are able to raise as a group!
Once again, we cannot thank you enough for participating and contributing to KULU's success! Without you, we can't do what we do! Every amount raised helps and makes a difference, and the people we provide for feel your impact. You don't have to change the world to change someone's world, and YOU are certainly doing that by participating here with KULU.
