My name is Ram and a long, long time ago I came here from Germany where my name was Ramazotti.
I am one of the original PBJ Connections therapy horses. My quirky personality brings out discussions about boundaries and assertiveness on a regular basis. I enjoy being a horse best of all and will only interact with people on my own terms.
I have spent a life time showing and working, but I am now happily retired here at the farm. My absolute favorite thing is to be out in the pasture with my friend and to take naps in the middle of the day. I don’t like a lot of people around me anymore and prefer to just hang out with “my” people. I’m willing to work with strangers if we’re in a big enough space and I can tell them to stay away from me if I want to; or if they know exactly where to scratch me!
I am very expressive about what I need but I'm always respectful of people. I send them clear messages and then I watch to see if they have learned how to interpret my language. I think it is important for everyone to know how to take care of their own needs and to speak clearly.
