When young Stephanie Roper was abducted, raped, tortured, killed and mutilated, her parents Vince and Roberta fought for their rights. Because of the injustices that they felt, they created what is now Maryland Crime Victims' Resource Center, Inc. (MCVRC) to advocate for victims of crime to ensure they know their rights and they do not walk alone during their time of need. But then what? What happens after all the dust has settled? Does the dust ever truly settle after you've been victimized?

For areas that are more isolated, like Western Maryland, Eastern Shore and Southern Maryland, access to assistance is more difficult. We at MCVRC want to reach further and make a bigger impact, and we can do that through Full Circle.

Full Circle activates a group of individuals who want to do more after having been personally victimized. This group of individuals are survivors of crimes and are ready to make a more meaningful impact -- allowing for the more isolated areas to learn about resources should they have a need.  This group, coupled with a robust advertising and media push can reach many areas that we have been unable to reach and spread awareness of the services available to victims'.

Your donation to this program will help to ensure its success and to ensure that MCVRC can reach those in need for resources.

"You're not a victim for sharing your story. You are a survivor setting the world on fire with your truth. And you never know who needs your light, your warmth and raging courage." ~Alex Elle
