My Sistah's Pink Journey is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 foundation located in the heart of Detroit, Michigan. MSPJ was founded in 2017 by Dawn Floyd a breast cancer survivor. When a person is undergoing treatment the side effects of the medication can interfere with their ability to work as well as their physical and emotional well-being. It is the mission of My Sistah's Pink Journey to provide encouragement through our MSPJ Comfort Care Packages, MSPJ Holiday Adoption Programs and most importantly monetary assistance that will help our recipients meet their financial obligations while undergoing treatment for breast cancer. MSPJ seeks to lesson external stressors, so patients can focus their attention and energies toward what is most important, fighting through the grueling battle of cancer and healing.
