Postpartum Depression Project has been invited to participate in a very exciting opportunity to raise funds with the Rock Community Challenge 2021. This is a completely digital campaign, and we need your help to make this a big success.

We have been a supportive agency within Washington, Pa and beyond since 2016. Our mission is to help mother’s and families see their way through a perinatal mood and anxiety disorder. 1 in 5 women suffer with a perinatal mood & anxiety disorder (PMAD). Our volunteers and facilitators are all recovered warriors of a PMAD. The connection of relating as equals with shared experiences, greatly removes the barriers and stigma that surround maternal mental illness.

What we do:

Peer to peer support group meetings (in person and virtually)
One on One support
Spanish speaking support
Mother and child yoga and meditation
Mommy mentoring
Seasonal programs
Retreats
Provide training for area therapists to advance their knowledge and receive their PMH-certifications with Postpartum Support International at no cost to therapist.
Advocate for impactful legislation on maternal mental health
Guest speakers for awareness
Maternal mental health campaigns
Assist mothers with further supports

As an all-volunteer based nonprofit, we solely rely on the community and charitable fundraising. We are very honored to have been nominated and to have been accepted by The Rock Community Challenge as an amazing way to help raise funds for maternal mental health supports and advocacy.
