Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! We are Dawn, Michelly and Jennie- the No Pee Burpees!
We joined this burpee-a-thon fundraiser to benefit a great cause- fighting to find a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, it's a horrible nervous system disease that weakens muscles, impacting physical function and finally taking its victim's life.
Unfortunately, this disease has greatly impacted Jennie's family, taking the life of her husband's mother Linda and older brother Vince way before their time. Vince's wife Glynis was actually the one who connected Regina Arndt (Gunn), the amazing organizer of this event and Jennie after realizing they both lived in Waxhaw, NC- small world!
The goal of the fundraiser this year is to raise $42,700. We burpee until the goal is reached. Guys, we have no idea how many burpees we can do and we are a bit nervous. Please consider making a donation, and putting us out of our misery sooner. You may just be saving our lives too :)
