Talcott alumni share common memories from the mountaintop: the sundial, the view, the long and winding bus ride to campus, and the Suite V rock. But what we most remember are the friends we made, and the fun we had learning. It was a time when we needed a safe, supportive community to discover our true selves. We also needed to be challenged academically. We didn't realize it at the time, but it was the key to discovering our true capabilities.
Looking back, we realize we were lucky to have Talcott.
Today, the COVID-19 epidemic has put an unfathomable strain on all of the educational resources for our children. Fortunately, Talcott is still there leading the way with hands-on learning that engages students -- in the classroom and online -- but more and more families are struggling to afford this often life-changing, one-of-a-kind educational environment.
We know Talcott alumni are full of passion and kind-hearted. Now is our chance to come together and show our gratitude by paving the way for students who are now like we once were.
Our goal is to raise $20,000. That would provide one full tuition for a student in need -- or partial scholarships to ten or more students.
