Ania Upstill: As a Joker with TONYC, I get to see firsthand how powerful the work we do is. Bringing communities together to recognize and challenge systems of oppression through theater is some of the most meaningful work that I’ve ever gotten to be a part of. The money we raise goes towards increasing creativity, advocacy, joy, and solidarity. Join us!

Libby Froeber (she/her): I’m excited to volunteer for TONYC because as an actor, teaching theatre artist, and designer, I’ve never been more inspired by the important and engaging work this company has done for communities in need of support and change. The use of performances, theatre activities, and PLAY as a way to engage with communities for social change is vital and necessary! Are you inspired? Curious? Want to help us go as far as possible on this critical journey? Join in and donate! Supporting TONYC in this giving season means supporting not only theatre, art, and creativity but also advocacy, inclusivity, and social change in a real and tangible way. The work is vital and your help is imperative! Celebrate the work this fall by giving a pumpkin spiced or spooky donation… no amount is too small, and we are Trick or TREATed by your support!

Liz Morgan: HAY There! I’m TONYC’s Director of Training & Pedagogy and I’ve been with this a-MAIZE-ing organization for 8 years. I started as a Joker-in-Training and have been mentored through the years by this ever-evolving community of artists and activists.  Learning how to lead, facilitate, create change and participate in collective action has been liberating.  We use the metaphor of a tree to describe this unique methodology of making theatre rooted in solidarity building so remember just because the leaves outside are falling, doesn’t mean TONYC doesn’t need nurturing to keep branching out.  Help us prepare for another season of transformative work with a donation.  We’d appreciate it a-LATTE.
