$10,000 Goal

On July 12, a group of cyclists will participate in Ride the Edge, a 275-mile bike ride that hugs the perimeter of Suffolk County, in an effort to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by autism.  All proceeds will benefit the Flying Point Foundation for Autism, a nonprofit that provides programs and services to individuals with autism.

The challenging endurance ride will be completed all in one day, expected to take about 17 hours including stops for sustenance. Total time in the saddle will be about 14 to 15 hours! Participants will ride through a mostly scenic route, promoting health, community involvement, and, most importantly, raising funds for a local autism nonprofit. Sponsors are being sought for this unique event, as well as pledges to riders who are taking on the challenge.

Sponsors will receive recognition before, during, and after the event in various promotional materials, including social media shoutouts, and on the event website. Sponsorship levels vary to accommodate a wide range of contributions, each providing unique benefits for your business.

No doubt, during the ride’s 275 miles, which starts in Eastport and touches every corner of Suffolk, including the far reaches of the East End and Shelter Island, your business will get noticed as a supporter of the event. Individuals donors will be providing the fuel that keeps the riders going.

Those who have signed on to ride this grueling challenge will ride together, plus pick up some cycling friends along the way, while maintaining a crushing 20 mph average for the entire route.

We are confident that with your support, we can not only raise crucial funds for autism-related initiatives but also foster a greater sense of community and understanding. It will also go a long way toward motivation for the riders. Thank you for considering this meaningful opportunity. I look forward to the possibility of partnering with you to make this event a success. All sponsorships are tax deductible.
