In 2022 Ray Pinney completed a feat few have attempted, let alone accomplished. Together with Anthony Certa, a veteran and teacher in the Matawan-Aberdeen School District, they ran the full length of New Jersey, almost 200 miles from the High Point monument to Cape May Lighthouse.
This year Ray and Anthony are back to repeat the feat, this time running south to north! They will be joined by another ultra runner, David Maxwell. Together with their fantastic support crew, they are fundraising for Dylan's Wings of Change, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first-grade victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

The foundation created Wingman, an experiential learning-based program that fosters empathy and connection among participants. Wingman is used in schools to implement meaningful peer leadership. Students receive 2 days of immersive training to become activity facilitators for the younger grades. Schools enrolled in Wingman cover a portion of the program costs to ensure their commitment and engagement.
Your donations ensure that every school can join Wingman regardless of budget.
