Why Amphibians Need Your Help
Amphibians populations have been declining worldwide at unprecedented rates, and nearly ONE-THIRD of the world’s amphibian species are threatened with extinction. Up to 200 species have completely disappeared in recent decades, an extinction rate several thousand times higher than normal. Amphibian populations are faced with an array of environmental problems, including pollution, infectious diseases, habitat loss, invasive species, climate change, and over-harvesting for the pet and food trades.
About SAVE THE FROGS!
SAVE THE FROGS! was founded in 2008 as the world’s first public charity dedicated exclusively to amphibians. Our mission is to protect amphibian populations and to promote a society that respects and appreciates nature and wildlife. Funding to support our programs is acutely needed and would greatly accelerate our efforts on behalf of amphibians and the environment.
Terms & Conditions:
* Redeemable for ecotours taking place through August 31, 2021; non-transferable; must be 18 or accompanied by a paying adult; airfare not included. Must raise a minimum of $2,000 to qualify. The Top Fundraiser is the fundraiser who joins this fundraising team and raises the most money through this fundraising platform.
** Tote bags, shirts and frog figurines will be mailed out by May 30th, 2020.
