Food Frenzy is a two-week fundraising competition organized by Food Lifeline to fight summer hunger in Western Washington. Businesses and community groups participate by collecting food donations, volunteering at Food Lifeline's Hunger Solution Center, and hosting fundraisers.

When children are home during the summer, they often lose access to free and reduced meals provided by schools, which further strains already tight budgets and forces parents into tough choices. When kids and families are well nourished during the summer, students return to school ready to learn.
Food insecurity impacts more than 1,700,000 individuals living in Western Washington and 30% of them are children.
