YoungLives is focused on building relationships with teen moms and dads by entering their world, modeling unconditional love, and encouraging them to become the men and women, and fathers and mothers, God created them to be.
YoungLives comes alongside local teen moms and dads through one-on-one mentoring, parenting classes on high school campuses, monthly club events, winter & summer camps, and more.
During the COVID-19 situation we have been able to come alongside approximately 100 families on an ongoing basis providing:
-Diapers/Wipes
-Baby Formula
-Groceries
-Virtual meetings including parenting lessons, Bible Study, and peer support
-Continued individual support from mentors
STILL CHANGE-ING YOUNGLIVES
We have brought one of our annual fundraisers to a virtual platform. Our baby bottle fundraiser typically raises approximately $18,000. As a team we would like to meet this goal and more so that we can continue to come alongside young families in our area. Although this year we aren't able to get an actual baby bottle in your hands to fill with your coins, cash, and checks, we still need your help!
We have an army of volunteers ready to deliver groceries, diapers, and baby wipes to teen families across Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Anaheim, and adjacent cities.
With the help of your donations we can continue supplying essentials and sharing the love of Christ - one porch at a time.
