EHDOC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing and supportive communities where seniors can age with dignity, independence, and connection. Today, EHDOC sponsors and manages 56 affordable senior housing communities across 14 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, providing homes and support to thousands of seniors each year.
At EHDOC, our mission—guided by the principle of ‘Housing with a Heart’— is to develop, manage, and preserve affordable independent living communities where seniors can thrive and age in place. We empower our residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within a compassionate, supportive health and wellness focused environment.
We have the privilege of seeing firsthand how important these communities are to the residents we serve. For many seniors, home means much more than an apartment—it means friendship, stability, support, and belonging. This summer, communities across EHDOC are coming together in a friendly fundraising campaign to help strengthen programs, resident experiences, and opportunities that improve quality of life for seniors.
