The Opportunity

Faith and science are often presented as opposing forces, and many people believe this rift is real. A sense that the church is “anti-science” is one of the factors in the church’s well-documented decline.

At Science for the Church, we believe in God, the creator, and that science helps us understand our Creator’s handiwork. Moreover, we see bridging the rift with science as a new evangelistic frontier.

Our ministry is uniquely positioned to help the church navigate this space as we:

  • Equip Christians and non-Christians to better understand the Creator as revealed in Scripture and nature.
  • Support science professionals and church leaders in integrating science into ministry.
  • Empower the church to use science as a tool for advancing the Gospel.

But to counter the perception of conflict and take-up this opportunity for evangelism, we need your support.

Your Impact

Our results speak for themselves. In the last year, we brought Harvard researcher Katelyn Long and forgiveness expert Everett Worthington to a California church, where over 50 attendees explored human flourishing, faith and health, and the power of forgiveness. We could feel the excitement in the room—one attendee wanted to bring the entire conference to his congregation.

We're also midway through a multi-year program equipping over a dozen churches to care for their congregations around trauma, mental health, and end-of-life preparation. And we're just getting started on a new initiative helping clergy navigate the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence—because the church can't afford to be left behind on that frontier either.

Here's what people are saying:

"I've already made use of what I learned [from Science for the Church] in my work in the church. I know there will be many other opportunities to do so."

"Thanks for introducing me to Science for the Church. They're a very impressive group."

"Let's do this again at my church!"

Ministry in a world driven by science and technology requires leaders who recognize that science is not a threat to the Gospel—it's an opportunity. Several generous friends of our ministry have committed $7,000 in matching funds for Giving Day 2026 to help us secure at least 75 new donors. Every gift, big or small, unlocks these funds. There has never been a better time to support Science for the Church!

Please support us today as we work to remove one of the obstacles that prevents many from connecting with the Body of Christ.
