Diaper need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry, and healthy. This issue currently effects over 1/3 of all American families, and 65% of people facing diaper need have no idea that diaper banks even exist!

Starbucks wants to help Helping Mamas change these statistics! Together, we aim to let the communities we serve know that diaper banks are available to help out our friends facing diaper need, and also ask those who don't face diaper need to lend a hand if possible.

Helping Mamas collects and distributes essential child and baby items from our warehouse in Norcross, GA. Working with over 150 partner agencies throughout the state of Georgia we provide critical items like diapers, wipes, car seats, cribs, pack and plays, and more. We provide items for children birth to age 12.

Serving nearly 60,000 children a year and distributing 2 million essential items to the community, Helping Mamas has grown to fight diaper need throughout the state of Georgia since its inception in 2014.

What will we be buying with the funds raised here?

Diapers - diapers are essential not only to the health of the baby but to the success of the family as a whole. Daycare centers require a certain number of diapers to be provided to them per month in order to provide care for a baby. Without adequate diapers, a parent won't have childcare and therefore often cannot work.
