Afrikids, Inc.

Afrikids, Inc. is a Miami-based nonprofit that funds the education of underprivileged children and young adults in the Usa River area of Tanzania. We started in 2010 with 4 children. Today, we provide quality schooling for more than 150 students from preschool to university. Supporting Afrikids are 45 sponsors from across the United States and in Europe, as well as hundreds of donors from the US, Canada, Latin America and Europe, who contribute annually to various fundraisers, including Art for Afrikids and Run for Afrikids. We are blessed to have a wonderful partner on the ground in Tanzania, Ombeni Kitoi Majenja, who manages all the students and relationships with the schools. Kitoi has been a part of Afrikids since its inception. We are proud to say that more than 95% of all donations go directly to funding our students' education.
