Team Afrikids, made up of 15 runners + walkers -- Alastair McCluskey & Lisa Ross, Terri & Matt Metcalf, Brad & Tery Pickle, James & Lucia Fleming, Tish & Alan Hoffman, Stuart McCluskey & Rita Devine, David Atkinson, Laurie & Ian -- will participate in the 4th annual Run for Afrikids at the Fiddlers Marathon in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on Sunday, October 18. Last Year, we gathered in Portugal
for the Lisbon International Marathon. And in 2024, Ian, Laurie and David traveled to Chile for the Patagonia International Marathon.
What an adventure that was! Run for Afrikids started in Canada in 2023 at the Montreal Marathon.
100% of the proceeds from the Run for Afrikids fundraisers go toward funding the education of more than 150 beautiful children and young adults in the Usa River area of Tanzania.
