Boone Area Humane Society Inc

The Boone Area Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. Following a no-kill principles we strive to educate the public and increase community involvement; rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals; create a path to population control and be an example of excellence.

Each year, we help over 1,000 dogs and cats and their owners. We help pets stay in their homes by offering free vaccine clinics and food as we have it available. We have an active kitten fostering program and our fosters help us save hundreds of kittens each year. Last year we placed over 600 dogs and cats in loving homes, giving them a second chance at a new start!
