DOORS is a parent-run organization associated with the highly esteemed Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center in New Brunswick, NJ.  DOORS provides resources to help children and adults with autism thrive and grow including:  Access to quality care from professionals, recreational opportunities to have fun with peers and skill building programs to maximize independence.

These programs are essential to the total growth of an individual with autism. Traditionally, however, these kinds of programs often don't receive funding from state or local agencies, so DOORS was founded to fill the funding gap.

With expert advice from professionals in and outside the field of autism, DOORS helps fund programming for over 100 individuals attending the DDDC. These programs provide essential social, educational, and recreational services that might otherwise be unavailable.

DOORS is a 501(c)3 organization, and donations are tax deductible as permitted under IRS guidelines.
