Empower 225

Baton Rouge is one of the top 100 most violent cities in the nation, with 31% of violent crimes committed in the 70805 zip code area, and is ranked in the top 3 in rate of new AIDS cases in large metropolitan cities.  Empower 225 (formerly HP Serve) helps homeless and at-risk youth obtain the education, job training, housing and supportive services they need to transition successfully to adulthood. Empower 225 has multiple programs used to address the needs of these youth.
