Since 1984, Interlink has served thousands of elders and people with disabilities residing in Lewis-CLark Valley. Interlink volunteers provide four core services: transportation, grocery shopping and delivery, building ADA access ramps, and providing minor in-home repairs. All of Interlink's services are performed by volunteers at ZERO cost to the end-user. All of Interlink's volunteer services are designed to allow our elderly and disabled community members to continue living in their own homes and delay the need for these citizens to move into an institutional living facility. 

Transportation services include trips to health care providers, commercial, and recreational destinations. All of Interlink's clients must have some physical disability or limitation that prevents them from driving. Two business-days notice is required for this service. Volunteers are always in demand for our no-cost transportation service.

Grocery Shopping and Delivery services are performed on a regular schedule as needed by the client. Volunteers typically perform these tasks on weekends, after work, or when doing their own shopping to reduce the demand placed on weekday drivers. It is important to note that Interlink does not purchase the groceries or items on behalf of the client - volunteers simply provide the hands and wheels to get the shopping done.

ADA Access Ramps built by Interlink volunteers provide recipients the ability to enter and exit their homes after a surgery or return from a physical rehabilitation clinic. These ramps come in two varieties- permanent wooden or temporary aluminum. Built or installed by teams of retired carpenters or contractor, Interlink's ADA access ramps are an invaluable resource for our physically limited community members. 

Minor In-Home Repairs, such as installing grab-bars, hand rails, and replacing lightbulbs and smoke detector batteries allow our community members to stay safe at home.
