We are so excited to be first time participants joining shelters across the country in the Shelter Slumber Pawty as a way to not only fundraise for our little shelter, but also highlight our amazing animals and volunteers while having a great time! 

A lot of the animals across the country spend their days in a shelter kennel and we love the idea of bringing awareness to what they might feel like. We pride ourselves in rehabilitation, plenty of time outside, socialization with both people and other canine companions and positive reinforcement to help each one of our shelter babies become the best version of themselves. We hope to one day get to a point where there are no shelters, because all of the animals in the world have homes, but until then we will continue to pour our all into the animals in our care. 

We are a small shelter in a town called Luling, Texas where we have a population of about 5,500 people. A lot of the animals that come into our care are strays that are picked up or brought to us. We hold them for 3 days while we work hard to find their owner and if an owner can't be found, we do everything we can to make them feel safe and loved while helping them find their forever home. We love what we do and really value our time working with every animal that crosses our path.
