Laurie’s Slumber Pawty with LAWS

I spend a lot of time at my shelter, but not usually 24 hrs straight!  Last year was our first year to participate in the National Slumber Pawty and we had such a great time and were so successful raising funds to help the shelter that there was no question we would do it again this year….so April 5-6th, I will spend 24 hrs at the shelter to fundraise, increase awareness, and highlight our awesome adoptable animals in care at Luling Animal Welfare Society.  We will show you snippets of a day in the life of our shelter animals and more uniquely a night as a shelter dog as each pup will be paired up with a volunteer sleepover buddy in their kennels!  It truly takes a village to save the stray and abandoned animals that end up in our shelters across the country and our shelter is no exception.  We are always prepared to do everything possible to help every animal that comes through our doors find their happily ever after and provide them with all the love and care possible until that happens, but we need your help.  Your donations enable us to provide quality food, medical care, enrichment, other basic needs, and even transport out of state to find each of our shelter kids the loving forever homes their deserve!  I would be so incredibly thankful for any support you can give!
