Watershed Watch in Kentucky (WWKY) has been operating since 1997 as a citizen scientist water monitoring organization. We need your help to continue our work for many more years to come. We work to improve and protect water quality by raising community awareness and by supporting the implementation of the goals of the Clean Water Act. We provide training and equipment for water quality monitoring across the state of Kentucky. You can learn more about our organization and efforts as well as our sampling data at kywater.org
In 2018 we have expanded our citizen scientist monitoring to include Lake Monitoring and we have received a grant to create a Youth Stream Team Program!
Our Organization is fully funded by grants and donations and as many of you know State and Federal budgets are being cut everyday. Funding for organizations like WWKY has become harder to find. We need your donations to continue to move forward. Please donate today!
