HELPING THE PEOPLE OF UGANDA
Transformed Communities International (TCI) is a 501(c)(3) organization working in rural Uganda to transform individuals, schools, and communities through education, Paradigm Shift Training, and various relief projects. Since 2009, its founders, Frank and Sue Robb, have been working in Kiburara, Western Uganda, and now Karamoja, with local organizations and individuals to serve short and long term needs.
Since 2014, groups of educators have traveled to Uganda to work with local schools and communities. They have a passion to invest in the youth of Uganda and educating the poor, including the young girls who are usually overlooked with regard to education in rural communities. 50% of the population is under 15, and this has been the focus. Support has been used for the construction of school buildings, teacher training, curriculum, and supplies. The impact on the communities has been for self-support.
The most pressing need of late has been to support the people of Karamoja, in northeastern Uganda. A terrible famine has contributed to a rising death toll. In addition to supplying food, there are multiple attempts to grow food locally, but the drought is devastating the crops.
Your help is greatly needed to not just provide relief from starvation but to equip the people to grow the food necessary for future needs. Thank you for your compassion and kindness.
