Washburn Ultimate

Washburn Ultimate is a 501c3 organization that supports the Ultimate teams for Washburn High School in Minneapolis, MN. The program started in 2014, and in just over ten years, it has grown into one of the most successful high school programs in Minnesota. The Girls-FMP (female matching players) team won the state championships in 2025 and 2026, is currently ranked second in the country, and has been invited to Nationals for three years in a row. The Boys/Open program includes Varsity and JV teams, in part due to a strong program at Justice Page Middle School. The Varsity Boys finished third in the state tournament in 2026, their highest finish ever, and are headed to Nationals for the second straight year. The JV team had their best season (and biggest team!) this year, winning the D3 State championship.

Our teams welcome players of all abilities to enjoy the sport and embrace the camaraderie, while playing at a competitive level. We focus on developing leadership and fair play, as well as athleticism and skill. Players, parents, and coaches collaborate to strengthen the program and grow the game of Ultimate.
