Williamsburg Firefighters Association

The Williamsburg Firefighters Association is comprised of past and present members of the Williamsburg Fire Department.  The goal of the organization is to ensure that its members and the department’s needs are met.  This includes assessing the health and welfare of the members and at times raising funds for necessary equipment that the departments operating budget may not be able to cover. 

The Williamsburg Fire Department is an on call service consists of about 30 members most of whom are residents of the town. The members respond to incidents within the town and provide mutual aid to the surrounding communities as needed.  All of the members are CPR and First Responder certified.

The operating budget of the department does not cover all of the costs of the training and equipment needed to perform the duties safely and efficiently.  The Williamsburg Firefighter Association helps to ensure that the members receive the appropriate gear, training and resources needed through fundraisers and donations from the public.
