I have been teaching English to adults at Kentucky Refugee Ministries for the last two and a half years. Please consider helping me support the clients I am teaching this year. The need for support is rising for refugees and immigrants in Kentucky. Since 2025, sweeping changes to the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program and immigration policies have severely impacted refugee and immigrant communities across the nation, terminating critical resource access and protection for countless people. With diminished federal funding for the programs on which many depend, your support is more vital than ever before. • $25 - Provides school supplies to a new refugee student beginning classes
• $50 - Gives a winter coat to a single mother and her child
• $100 - Assists a refugee family with the cost of groceries for one month
• $250 - Provides four pairs of steel-toe boots for newly hired refugee in the workforce
• $500 - Supports the distribution of household goods and basic necessities to refugee and immigrant families
• $1,000 - Creates a scholarship for an aspiring college student
