It is a great honor to reach out to you as the newly elected president of House of Blue Hope. I never thought during that night in Santo Domingo on my first date with Adam when he showed me videos of House of Blue Hope that 10 years later I was going to be writing these words to you as president of this beautiful organization.
In 2025, House of Blue Hope achieved an extraordinary goal - we grew to more than 100 children! What started with seven in 2007, has grown into a vibrant community of volunteers, advocates, partners, and donors who have helped us reach 100 children. We are so grateful for your support!
Another amazing accomplishment for us in 2025 was our girls’ academic achievements. On my first trip to Tanzania in 2016, HBH was opening our first house to bring girls into the program. Fast forward to summer 2025, we have the first group of girls graduating from Gonzaga primary school, en route to continuing their education.
In 2026, we are determined to:
- 📚 Launch a Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) learning facility so our children can explore, discover, and invent.
- 👩🏫 Grow professional development opportunities for staff and alumni.
- 🏫 Continue supporting 100+ kids with quality education and holistic support.
Today I ask you to stand with us, for our biggest fundraiser of the year to help us achieve our $50,000 goal!
