Kim M's fundraiser for BAHS Shelter Slumber Pawty

Hello friends & family! I am participating in Boone Area Humane Society’s first Shelter Slumber Pawty. On April 6th, dedicated staff and volunteers will be spending 24 hours at the shelter with our residents in hopes of raising crucial funds to continue providing food, medical care and love to pets in need.  I have fostered baby kittens for them for many years, now I mainly take in bottle-fed babies. Not everyone has the time to take in bottle babies. It is just like caring for an infant. We have adopted many dogs and cats/kittens from this shelter. Steve and I adopted our first pet together from BAHS before 2007. In 2007 we adopted our first tri-pod dog from there. We always joke that we were lied to, the newspaper article stated he need a quiet home but to be honest you never could tell  Magnum had 3 legs. He was on the go constantly. We also now have a 1 eyed husky that came from BAHS and all of our cats we now have come from there.
