Alaina Caswell for Comfort House CAC

Child physical and sexual abuse are not something most adults want to think about, let alone talk about. 

Unfortunately, we know that it is happening and many children who are abused don't understand or know that they are being abused. Comfort House bridges that gap by teaching children about what physical and sexual abuse are AND provides a space for children to tell their story in their words. 

I am passionate about the work that Comfort House does, because children who are abused deserve the opportunity to feel safe and heard when telling their story. It is not an easy topic to talk about, but Comfort House gives children the opportunity and COMFORT to do just that.
