In Guatemala, 25.5% of the population are illiterate, with illiteracy rates up to more than 60% in the indigenous population. Nearly one-half of Guatemala’s children under age five are chronically malnourished, one of the highest malnutrition rates in the world.LET’S CHANGE THAT.

At Project Somos, we guide children onto the right path, into adulthood and to achieve their dreams. From age four to 24, we provide free, quality education, nutritious meals from our onsite organic farm, a space to dream, and ultimately, career guidance and job opportunities. Our programs are shaped by the communities themselves, building strong, lasting bonds between families, local leaders, and us.
