As a result of the Academic Character Education (ACE) program’s success, student participation is a school requirement. Beginning September 4, 2023, all 3rd- 5th grade male students must attend the ACE program.
The current funding will not support the number of students' supplies, materials, and travel costs.
The current funding will not cover additional staffing hours.
The program has a zero (0) retention rate, and the demand for Open Doors services throughout the school grows daily.
The organization faces a dilemma requiring additional program funding for program operations.
Meeting minimal accommodations is imperative to continue providing the youth violence prevention program.
