Child physical and sexual abuse are not topics most adults want to think about, let alone talk about.

Unfortunately, we know abuse happens, and many children may not understand what is happening to them or know how to tell someone. That is where Comfort House Child Advocacy Center makes such an important difference. Comfort House helps educate children about abuse and provides a safe, supportive environment where children can tell their story—in their own words and at their own pace.

These are not easy conversations, but every child deserves to be heard, believed, supported, and given a safe place to tell their story. Comfort House provides children and families with exactly what its name promises: comfort during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. 💙
