I am proud to work at Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network. 

This year marks GAIN’s 20th anniversary, a milestone we celebrate with pride, but also with the recognition that this has been our most difficult year yet. New state and federal policies are reshaping the landscape for immigrant survivors and asylum seekers, making it harder than ever for families to achieve safety, stability, and justice.

Despite funding setbacks and growing obstacles, the work that we are doing is more important than ever. Each day, I watch my colleagues show up with everything they've got, working tirelessly to ensure that our clients and community have their rights upheld, and are given a chance at safety. 

Our clients remind me that in any challenge we can find joy, in community we can find strength, and in fear we can BE hope.

I have set a personal goal of raising $1500 for GAIN before the end of 2025 and I need your help.
