This year we can't gather together in Brooklyn's Prospect Park, so we'll be participating in the Scootathon in our own way, separate from one another but together in spirit. I hope you will sponsor me as we scoot around our living room, maybe around the block, certainly in our hearts, and definitely with proper social distancing--all for our small independent arts-based school, which needs our support now more than ever.  BWS has continued to pay its full staff during this shut-down, providing crucial employment for over 60 people who depend on the school for their livelihoods. They have also worked quickly to bring their unique educational model online and into our homes, to nurture families and students during this unprecedented time.  In the coming school year, it is likely more families will need tuition assistance than ever before.  Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated!
