Zoey is one of our Seniors for Seniors cats and needs some urgent dental work.

$1,000

raised by 12 people

$1,000 goal

Zoey has developed some dental issues that need addressing asap because they are affecting her comfort in eating.  She is part of our "Seniors for Seniors" program, which means we support the medical needs of the pets - otherwise many senior (humans) are reluctant to adopt senior pets out of fear of the unexpected expenses on a fixed income.

The estimate for Zoey's pre-op bloodwork, dental (assuming some extractions) and followup care is about $1K.  Our finances are stretched due to Covid:  big drop in donations + near-zero adoptions + all vet care has been done on an emergency (expensive) basis.

Zoey is 12 years old and was adopted by her new mom at the beginning of this year. Her new mom lives in a senior living center that has been on complete lockdown for 3 months. That's right - she is in a one room apartment and is not allowed to leave or have visitors. Thankfully, she has had Zoey for company. This makes Zoey one of our "Covid Companion Cats."

We need help from our community to help Zoey feel better so she can continue to cuddle and care for her senior "mom." Won't you help us help her?
