In addition to being a place for our intergenerational community to gather, Pass the Mic predominantly serves as a benefit fundraiser for our organization! Pausing our programming for the year of 2025 was not only an incredibly difficult decision for us emotionally, as it meant not being able to spend the summer learning from our incredible youth at summer camp or rocking out with the adult participants of Rock Roulette; it also deeply affected our financial state as an organization. We feel proud of the work that has been going on these past few months to reassess the way GRNC currently operates, make good on some of our promises, and dream big for the future; but none of it can actually come to fruition without the funds to support our staff and board.
We are incredibly grateful for the loyalty of our dedicated community members for sticking with us through all the changes that have marked the past 5 years for GRNC. We understand and deeply appreciate the patience you have shown us. This is a big, joyful reunion and celebration of everything we love about GRNC — music, creativity, connection, and community. Whether you’re a former camper, a future one, a parent, a sibling, or a long-time supporter — this day is all about coming together and having a blast! The proceeds of this event will go towards our 2026 programming. Help us reach our goal!
