HELP! I need as many different people as possible to donate $10 or more to the Sundance Association for Country-Western Dancing, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that brings country-western dance lessons and events to the LGBT+ community and its friends. 

Sundance is in a competition for the most unique donors to contribute between June 1 and June 30 through the Horizons Foundation Give OUT Day portal. Your $10 gift will help Sundance vie for up to $10,000 in additional grant funding, which is desperately needed to help counter losses from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Sundance Association is best known for its twice-weekly Sundance Saloon event, on hiatus since March 12 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sundance Saloon is more than just a place to dance. It is a rare place of unfettered joy, where everyone feels welcome and comfortable, and the foundation of a strong community. I am so proud to be a part of that community.

Like many nonprofit organizations, the Sundance Association is expecting to take a significant financial hit this year due to the loss of its primary source of income from the closure of Sundance Saloon. Still, Sundance continues to serve the community through weekly live-stream lessons and other community-building projects.
