🌈 Courtney's Shelter Slumber Pawty Fundraiser

Being the adoption counselor and social media manager at Sarge's Animal Rescue has given me so much personal fulfillment. It's also an opportunity to make pet adoptions more accessible for marginalized communities here in Waynesville, which is a big responsibility I hold near and dear to my heart. I've incorporated my life mission of finding peace with pairing animals to their forever homes - and that makes me sleep a little more sound every night. 

Pets make our lives worthwhile. It's what makes my family unit feel like home.

 Animal rescue and advocacy is something I've been passionate about for over two decades. We all have big dreams for Sarge's, and I'd love to see the physical manifestation of raising funds for Sarge's to be a reality! 

 I've previously worked in the animal medicine field in South Florida, and I am elated to be on the non-profit side of animal care. Please consider helping me reach my personal goal of raising $5,000 to help support the homeless animals of Haywood County and across the country! 

This is my first year at Sarge's and my first Shelter Slumber Pawty. I'll be staying at the Rescue's headquarters for 24 hours and raising money via Facebook Live! I'd love nothing more than to showcase the community support I've gained since calling Waynesville my home in 2021 with my wife and our 4 pets. The newest member is Timber, a rescue puppy who's a Sarge's Alumni (he's pictured above!)
