Corrinne's Fundraiser for BAHS Slumber Pawty

Most of us have had furry friends that have made a difference in our lives. They are our friends when we are happy, they are our support when we are sad, and they enrich our lives so much. I'm raising funds in support of Boone Area Humane Society. I have volunteered at the BAHS for 6 years now, doing whatever I can to help get them healthy and get them adopted. I've fostered so many kittens (one memorable weekend hosting about 20 of them at once!), and I cried the first time I sent them to their furrever homes (ok the first several times!). I've also only managed to keep two, my fat bottom girl Pygmy and my prissy princess Boomy.

In that time, I have also learned about all the work that goes into getting that animal ready to go home with their new favorite humans. Vaccinations, spay/neuters, microchips, deworming... these easily cost over $200 or more for the shelter, and that is for an animal that comes in relatively healthy! BAHS gives each animal the best care, the time to destress and learn to trust people again, and a safe place to land when they have nowhere else to go.
