Our Mission
Whidbey Island Arts Council (WIAC) fosters a community of culture through its foundational support and advocacy of artists and arts organizations on Whidbey Island, WA.
Can we count on you to reach or surpass our goal within 48 hours? No donation is too small. Please give what you can through May 3rd.
Why We Need Your Help
• FREE kids' art classes, which serve local families and employ local art instructors.
$200 pays a workshop teacher for the day and $1,000 underwrites a children's art workshop entirely.
• Artist grants and scholarships. Artist relief grants were extended recently to professional Whidbey artists who lost their studios to fire and winter storms.
$200 provides a hardship relief grant for a professional artist in-need, or a merit scholarship for one exceptional student in the arts.
• Fiscal and administrative support to programs sponsored under the WIAC umbrella, including emerging visual and performing arts groups as they expand and grow.
$55 provides one month of accounting services for one fiscally sponsored program.
• WIAC operating expenses. $500 allows WIAC to research and write one grant that will support our mission.
Thank you for supporting the Whidbey Island creative community!
