Morgan's Fundraiser for Child Inc.

My name is Morgan Brodeur & I am a domestic abuse survivor. After being in a committed relationship that could best be described as a "psychological roller coaster ride,"  I am finally finding the strength to break the continuous cycle of abuse that I have been living. To say that this process has been difficult, scary, and emotional is an understatement. I have, even up until very recently, had weak moments that have resulted in me going back to my abuser. Thoughout all of this, Child Inc.'s Domestic Violence Advocacy Program has been with me every step of the way- helping me with the PFA filing process, directing me to legal counsel,  providing resources for abuse survivors (including counseling) and phone calls/ emails several times a week to "check in" and make sure that I am doing OK. Not once have they judged me for my actions or feelings throughout this process. In fact, at the beginning of my first visit I was told how courageous and strong I am for taking the step of coming in to do what is best for me & my well-being. I cannot put into words how appreciative I am for Child Inc. and their Domestic Violence Advocacy Program, and this fundraiser is the least I can do to show that appreciation. Please consider supporting this organization which has become very near and dear to my heart!  No donation amount is too small!
