Abigail Zimmerman - Sophomore

Even though I’m fairly new to the sport, I love crew because after hard days at school, it gives me a mental break from reality. Especially when I am really stressed, the water feels relaxing for me and I especially love the times when we can watch the sunset. Even when we are at the light plant though, I love the environment that the girls surround me with. It’s really uplifting and something, no matter how many sports I’ve done, haven’t found somewhere else. Although the days are tough, I look forward to it every day and makes me push myself in ways I hadn’t before.
