Jenna Baverman - Team Israel

Playing for Israel means so much to me because of my extreme pride in being a Jew. I love my religion and I love being able to connect it with the sport I am lucky enough to continue to play after college. My family and education has helped create a strong foundation and heritage that makes representing Israel so special.  

Wearing Israel on my chest while making history with the first ever U19 Women’s World Cup Team in 2015 was monumental. Wearing Israel on my chest while competing on the Women’s National Team finishing sixth in the World at the 2017 World Cup was a thrilling and rewarding experience. I am so thankful to get the chance to wear Israel on my chest yet again.

When representing Israel, I am able connect with so many other Jewish athletes and answer questions to opposing athletes about the uniqueness being a part of team Israel encompasses. This special organization and country has brought much happiness, success and opportunity to my life and I am overjoyed to be able to repeat my amazing experiences again!
