PEACE IN OUR BACKYARD

I’ve always thought that civil communication was key to resolving conflict, reconciling differences of opinion, and, most importantly, understanding one another. When I moved to Annapolis and discovered AACRC, I knew that this was a place where I could put my knowledge and beliefs into action as a member of the board of directors. AACRC serves all walks of life and can transform conflict into understanding, acceptance, and peaceful (even loving!) co-existence. Best of all, the skillful mediation services are provided to anyone who asks, at no charge.

It’s hard to ask for money, but like all nonprofits, we’ve been hit hard by the COVID crisis, and financial help is needed more than ever.  This crowdfunding campaign replaces our traditional fall campaign where we gather together, in person, to celebrate our efforts.  Your donation —- of any amount — will go far in helping us make our community a model of peace, understanding and acceptance, right in our own backyard!

 And please consider donating even if you don’t live in Maryland! The good works, good ideas, and good relationships that are facilitated by AACRC have a way of spreading far and wide.  And if you share this campaign on social media we’ll have even more chances to spread our message.
