These are really weird and difficult times. One of the challenges for us as a family has keeping some form of normal for our children, while also impressing upon them the seriousness of what's going on in the world.
Every year in early May we spend a specia day with Gus and Louis' school community. We celebrate Mayfair and participate in our school Scootathon usually with flower crowns and daisies on our heads. It is a way of celebrating alternative transportation, raising some money for our school and sharing a day with our community.
This year we can't celebrate together, but we're still going to scoot, to keep a tradition our family has grown to love, and to raise money for our school, that like so many other schools, non profits, businesses and individuals, has been and will continue to be financially impacted by this pandemic.
We know it s a hard year to ask for donations and that there are lots of very worth causes out there. We believe in the mission of our school, in the teachers and the wonderful people who work at BWS and we know even with lots of our community stepping up to give, it will be a struggle. We appreciate anything you can do.
Most importantly, we send you love and well wishes and hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe. We are here for you if we can be.
